About Us

Bagatelle Books is a brick-and-mortar bookstore opened in Asheville, North Carolina in April 2019. We are located in historic West Asheville, adjoined by a cafe and a florist. We buy and sell used & rare books, list books online everyday, and have the occasional event in-store. Check out our events page or Instagram @bagatellebooks for more information.

We are open everyday 11-5 and 11-6 on Friday & Saturday, & we are closed Tuesdays! 

We are also thrilled to announce our partnership with Character Study, a book and cocktail bar located down the street from us on Haywood. We're providing all the books to furnish their cozy, lush, and literary themed bar. Each book is $8 and pairs perfectly with their book-themed cocktails. Catch us after hours sipping on a Haywood Rd With a View or a Le Guin & Tonic.
