Pages 21–45 have a spot of puncturing that has torn through the pages, including one of the illustrated plates, though the illustration itself remains intact. Additionally, a previous owner's bookplate is affixed to front free endpaper. Illustrated in black & white and red ink throughout with four full color plates, including one black & white fold-out. Published in a limited edition of 1000 copies in 1938. This text comprises a series of short essays on Rosicrucian texts by Hall, along with a facsimile text and translation of the eighteenth century German "D.O.M.A. manuscript" entitled "Codex Rosae Crucis." The last few pages of the text contain Hall's commentary on each plate and its translation.
