From a major exhibition of Wain's work at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 1972. This exhibition catalogue features the wonderful work of Louis Wain, known for his charming cat portraits, as well as a short biography of his life including his early foray into the arts, his wife's untimely death, and his final years in and out of insane asylums. This edition also shows the evolution of Wain's art and depicts his later, more psychedelic, art that preceeds the emergence of psychedelic art movements of the 60s by more than half a decade.
